Service Description

Corrective pigment camouflage is a specialized paramedical tattooing treatment designed to make scars and areas of lost or uneven pigmentation less noticeable. Custom-blended pigments are carefully matched to the surrounding skin and implanted into the treatment area. The goal is not to remove the scar, but to reduce color contrast so it blends more naturally with the surrounding skin. Before treatment, the area will be evaluated to confirm that it is fully healed, stable, and appropriate for tattooing. Pigment color, placement, and the treatment plan are customized for each client. During the procedure, clients may experience light scratching, pressure, vibration, or mild discomfort. Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, dryness, or light scabbing may occur during healing, and detailed aftercare instructions will be provided. Having this treatment performed by an appropriately trained Registered Nurse provides the added benefit of clinical assessment and safety-focused care. Your medical history, medications, allergies, skin condition, previous procedures, and healing history can be reviewed before treatment. An RN’s training in assessment, infection control, patient education, and care planning can also help identify concerns that may require medical clearance, delayed treatment, or referral. Corrective pigment camouflage may be appropriate for lighter scars, surgical scars, hypopigmentation, and other stable differences in skin color. It does not flatten raised scars or completely erase them, and results vary depending on the skin and treatment area. Following your consultation, discounted package rates are available for clients who wish to purchase multiple sessions in advance. You may also schedule and pay for individual sessions at the standard rate as needed.
